Can anyone please guide the difference between t5 light s or any 6500 k tube lights and trulight tubes ?
How would the trulight tubes work differently from the t5 tubes?
Please guide experts

Re: Diff between t5 and trulight
Trulite is just a model name from Phillips.
T5 is related to thickness of the tube.
Trulite model is old and is T8 thickness.
Though trulite is old model, it has one of the best viewing colours same time great plant growth.
T5 can give the same growth too, no doubt.
So its down to your preferences.

Re: Diff between t5 and trulight
There is no relation between Truelight and T5, as mentioned by Saikumar. T5 produces mores light in less wattage. It is also efficient for plants.

Re: Diff between t5 and trulight
Thank you for your replies but my question still seems to be dodging me.
There are many lights with 6500 k output rating and yet some are considered better than others. Is this merely because of consumption levels being different for producing the same output or is there more to it by way of quality of light.
Regards

You are correct, its different mindsets we buy with.. Availability, or fellow hobbyist using that brand, sometimes you love the color tone. Mostly all work. As rajiv ji said T5 is more popular for its efficiency.
