Best alternative for a 5 gallon tank. You can also use LEds.

A normal white LED strip that I buy from Amazon will work for this as well?

5W led bulb (diffuser removed) can also work

I made a DIY Light fixture using PVC Board . Using a Syska 5W LED in it (410 lumens or 25 Lumens per Litre which is in medium lighting range) . I initially used a Havells (Adore Range) 10W LED (950 lumens or 200 Lumens per gallon!!!!! or 60 Lumens per Litre!!!!!!) The plants turned pale in just 1 day under that light :p

No,because I used a an LED strip earlier and it was inefficient . The lumen rating is very low . Go for LED bulbs
