alternative to ADA decorative sand

Hi all am planning to rescape my 4footer ,need some decorative sand pure white or creamy white like stuff used in ADA nature tanks .I thought of small pure white chips of small size to create that effect but within days ssnd getting dirty creating a negative impact on scape so i thought of ADA stuff but very expensive....any suggestions are welcome

Do you need white color sand or other color sand?

No idea but want to know any other alternative is ther other than ADA

you can get from good LFS at Rs40-60/kg

Go for sugar sand but I guess they will be too white.

IMO..use normal river sand it's the best! or else normal cnstruction sand, pre washed in hot water for 4-5 days then dried and then sieved to get just the sand dust is the second best. Used both of em' with more than satisfactory result
