A nice tank.
But it is not a biotope tank. Denasonii is not from Amazon. It is a native Indian fish.

nice tank buddy, but it's not a biotope tank.not only danisonii, but you have blue diamond discus which is tank breed.if you keep wild caught or f1 discus then it's close to that...

Re: 7 foot Amazon biotope aquarium
Thank u all for the comments both positive and negative
the danasonii well yes are out of place but i really like them.they require long tanks and i have never had a chance to keep them before.i will be changing and adding a few tanks so they will be moved out of here when the time comes. At the moment they add some lovely color to the tank.
if you see it as a pure biotope then yes there are a lot of things wrong with it.even the rocks are not biotope, though i have changed them to pebbles just yesterday.
getting wild caught discus in india is a task,so am lucky to have some amazing blue diamonds growing out.of course my first choice would be some browns or alenquers and will swap down the line.

i'm not a big fan of biotype aquarium and as long as the fish don't look out of place and require same the parameters i don't hesitate in adding them.and if you are not obsessed with biotype tanks this tank looks perfect
