Tanganyikan setup

Hi,

I had started this thread on IAH and thought to share with you as well.

The transformation

After few weeks, I changed it to this setup and this photo had won 2nd price in monthly photo competition on IAH.

Time to speak about the setup itself

Setup
Tank - 4.5x2x2 feet
Filter - Eheim 2217
Sand - white crystal sand
Rocks - Collected from kokan area
Lighting - Hitachi neon tube + Actnic blue (most of the times its off

)
WC : Weekly once - 70%
Water additives : Hypo to de-chlorinate

The fishes

Another winner snap from IAH competition. However, I was not able to keep duboisi happy

liked the tank setup. you have given them the environment close to natural environment.

Your tank is looking close to natural environment of Tanganyika.
Nice and beautiful setup specially the formation of river.
