After a long time decided to keep the king of aquarium and made a 3 feet tank for them (with 2 feet DIY sump kind filter). The details are as below:

Tank Size: 3X2X1.5 ft
Hard scape material: ADA amazonia and decorative sand at the front, Drift wood and some collection rocks
Light: 2 X 54W T5HO (mostly I switch on only one)
Filter: DIY Sump kind, 23X15X18(H) inch with a 1200 L/H powerhead
Plants: Vals, bolbities, anubias nana, cyperus helferi etc.
Fishes: A group of Discuss + some cardinals and rummy nose + lots of cherry shrimps

Here are few pics of the setup

in the first discus I have seen 1 small BD along with eruption and turquoise discus. please separate that discus from this tank.this is the smallest of the lot and has a huge probability to be a stunted discus in future. raise it in a separate tank that you already do.

otherwise, apart from marlboro strain, which is in a separate tank,I don't believe other discus will have peepering on their bodies.

what a lovely tank.

I hope you will be able to do always not only the requisite water changes but also the extra care that keeping the discus in a planted tank entails... the prettiest discus planted tank coolbig

Here is a rough diagram of my DIY sump/filter system.

The storage area of the sump has been used to keep the babies :)
