This is 6th time Discus pair laid eggs in the aquarium. 1st time eggs turns white due to fungus.
2nd and 3rd time Parents have eaten the eggs.
4th time. Eggs survived and hatched, many drawn in filter. Few left about 10 but all went unseen after 3 days. May be died or eaten by parents.
5th time again eaten by parents as I removed Iron cage after three days as hoping for hatching.

Now today is 6th time. Ph is 6.5, temperature is 28.5. Tank size is big enough. Only pair is there. Added Methylene Blue. Eggs are on planted pot. Only Sponge air filter is running right now.

My concern is:-

What should be the feeding schedule for parents right now
When to remove Cage.
Light timings
Water Change schedule
What to do after they came out of eggs.

Please help. :feedb

Provide them food only once or twice.

Which cage? Discus fish care eggs and they continousely fan the eggs. for proper ventilation.

Light can be as usual.

Change small amount of water daily.

Keep fry upto one week with parents. After one week remove the parents and start food granuels for fry.

Most of time they eat unfertilized eggs. Fry will out after 48 hours.
