Blue variants are the best options for the beginners. Number of discus depends on the tank size but always keep in odd number.

Most of the beginners face the issue of peppering in Discus fish. But blue variants never infested with peppering.

Males always harras to each other. If there are many males in even no, each male choose one weak male to chase. The strong male never allow weak to eat food. If they are in even number, the situation will never come.
