The albimarginata male photographed above is currently holding
I am hoping to see fry in another 2-3 weeks time

the male held for 17 days and spat the fry on the 18th day
but i was ill informed and hadn't separated the female from the male
apparently the right way to go about is to separate the male from the female and any other after the tenth day if you want to save the fry and grow them out
so now crossing my fingers for the next try
although after he lost the first set he has become very skittish and lost his bright red colors
may be after time he would be alright
