Filter Pad (White) for Ehiem 2217 canister

Hi All,

Hope everyone doing good.
Kindly advise from where we can get Ehiem 2217 white filter pad & approx. cost of it.
On E Bay cost is approx 2300 for 3 pads which is very high i think.

Can we also use any alternate filter pad for same purpose .
I M getting sqaure sera pad which can be cut out to same size but its thicker like blue coarse pad.

Kindly advice as there is little space so can i add more media in it which has original peat,ceramic rings in it.

You can use the cotton wool which furniture guys use to make sofa. Make sure to treat it before use.

You could use GSM Sheet. I think GSM stands for Geo Synthetic Material. It should be available in Hardware stores. It is a good filtration sheet and is generally white/grey in colour.
