Hi Sunny,
Please refer
http://aquapetz.com/viewtopic.php?t=2810
Also keep in mind tht if there are any plants in the aquarium, should be careful abt the temperature increase.
Also increase the temp step by step. Say 2 degree per hour else it will shock the fishes.

Thanks and Regards.
Arun.

Yes its safe, you can continue the same method.
Temp to 32°C.
If its planted tank you can avoid aquarium salt.
In my case i only increased the temperature, didnt apply any medicines. Temperature will kill all of the parasites.
If its planted tank then changed water 30%. And add methylene blue as mentioned.
I dont know about the tablet you mentioned, Rajiv sir can help.

Thanks and Regards.

You have a 10 gallon tank so as per calculation 8 ml will do.
If its not planted tank(or if u dont have any temp sensitive plants) simply increase the temp to 32°C step by step. You dont need to use any medicine in that case.

Thanks and Regards
Arun

Roughly 1 teaspoon is 5ml, so you can add 2 teaspoons.
You will have to continue the treatment for a while, even if you dont see any white spots on the fish.
For that you need to understand the life cycle of ich parasite.
White spot-> feeding time(no treatment can kill them at this stage.)
White spot completes the feeding and leaves the fish for multiplying.
They will multiply and try to find a host.
At This stage they are vulnerable and treatment will kill them.
But to make sure you need to keep the treatment for 3 weeks.

If you are increasing the temp, keep it like that for 3-4 weeks.

I recommend the temperature method bcz i succeeded using that and the most effective one i guess.

Seniors can guide better.

Thanks and Regards.
Arun.
