Get an aluminium hanger, bent it as N and push it though the hole.

This way I guess I'll be able to get the fan/hanger wire assembly done. How do I fix that assembly to the tank's edge?

its not clear in the pic, are those two individual fans, that you can separate them?

Standard 120mm PC fans.
Yes there are two of them.
