such Diy will cost you almost more than half the price of the commercially available filter and the chances of failure is really high. so go for it only if you want to enjoy DIY for the sake of it.

Hamza from Hydrabad running his aquariums on DIY filters. Result is very good.

All of the stuff can be get from Chawri Bazar.

Sushant i have an Itch about DIY stuffs.. so will defiantly try it, lets see how much it will cost (once i get the components)
