hermit crabs are awesome invertebrates to keep. do u know they can breathe out of water too? and if u keep them in a group, they are very happy.

i read somewhere that if u keep a group, and u give them a bigger shell, each hermit crab with change for the next bigger shell, so u will get one shell back also!

They have 8-10 spare shells.

I think Its breeding can only done in Reef tank..

if u read the link, u will see u dont need a reef tank to breed them.

but they need a wave-maker for sure.
