Is the regulator and gauge available in aquariums compatible to standard industrial CO2 cylinders ?
let me know
Sorry for the late reply neil. Yes i am using 15kg co2 cylinder its around 90cm tall and a bit broader than normal cylinders which we generally use for tanks. I am using esab regulator with good quality selenoid valve. Keep in mind that all Co2 cylinder have same standard diameter outlet so no issues. Never use any other gas cylinders for Co2 purpose.

Mates,
Let me say thanks for sharing @Amol.
Iam expanding my planting by adding some tanks in outdoor spaces in my home
So that checking CO2 tubes , economical diffusers and fitting suitable for out door condition.
May I anticipate recommendations/directions from all of you

NEIL

Re: use of coconut water as manure
Do you have any tanks indoors where you have used coconut water as manure? I am a bit skeptic in attributing all the excellent growth properties to coconut manure alone in outside tanks, as nothing more than sunlight plays magic as far as growth of aquatic plants are concerned. So if you can have two identical tanks-one outside and the other inside (no sunlight but only artificial lights) , both having same flora and with coconut water as manure we can see the effect really well.

a control tank would also be required where nothing extra is being given.

Re: use of coconut water as manure
tested in a 5 feet tank placed in sit-out
light used Philips true light 40 watt
and normal aquarium tube 40W
ordinary internal filter
substrate white sand from local reseller
plants
valisnaria
crypt s
amozone sword
banana plant
fishes: angels coridoras and gara
using coconut water is little strenuous cos fixing dose and observing etc...
I strictly say don't use it if skeptic
using ready packed branded fertilizers is easy to handle and proven
this is only an alternative
thanks for responding
