DIY canister
I want to try DIY canister from a long time, have been trying to find the right material for it. Had noticed first time the box which contains candles of water purifiers at home of aqua guard.
I want to use this, the internal filter bag and body to keep it can be discarded. Need your suggestions on it. Have posted some pictures on how it looks.

Even if it is not air tight, you can use silicon based lubricant and plumbing tape in order to make it tight. The canister looks perfect to me, but what you should be worried about is if it will be able to handle the pressure in it.
In case of power failure, it should not burst or leak should be your first test.
Go for it.
