There's nothing that cannot be done here, after all India is the forerunner in jugaad technology :LOL
haha, yeah so i got it fixed.!!. all we had to do was take out the solenoid 1st, for some reason the solenoid wasnt reacting to the electromagnetism, probable reason - overheating of coil due to voltage surges/fluctuations. another issue that i had was in the main regulator valve, the alignment of gas tunnels had gone off - there were 2 tiny holes inside the chamber and 2 on the main valve pin. they had to be aligned so the gas could transfer. the alignment i dont know how , but had gone off so a little tinker with these 2 things, and the regulator is back on track.

for safety i have changed my cylinder, - all well now :).

another thing which i am unaware of perhaps is - pressure readings. so, i was checking a few cylinders at the shop, they were full. 1st they showed me a cylinder which acc to them was 3l. when i attached it to my regulator the high pressure gauge showed 1000psi and so did the 1l cylinder. my question- will it always show 1000psi no matter what size cylinder i have??

Pressure reading depends on temperature. In summers, the pressure reading may be higher than 1000 psi, whereas in winters, it may show you 800psi. Perfectly normal.

I am sorry.
Please pardon my abbreviation. I meant to say Stainless steel dual stage regulator.
