Chadwick falls at shimla could be visited but it will hardly have water in May. Other than that shimla doesn't have any river or water body. The other option near Simla is tatta pani but it will be difficult to arrange accommodation for a group at reasonable rates in May as it is the peak season

Any other place near Shimla? We will reserve accomondation in the month of March

Accommodation in Chail can be arranged as one of my relative went there with group of studends from coll. every year.
I have seen there pics beside river..

Yes this is a bit far however can be worth to visit
Direct train to jamnagar and after that a ferry ride to the island my friend visited last year I can enquire about it however it's not advisable for smaller group to visit a group of more than 15 would be good.
