Things to carry

Good quality hiking boots or a sport shoe.
Waterproof carry bag (20 liters)
Detailed List:2 synthetic trekking trousers
2/3 cotton T-shirts
1 turtle neck full T shirt (in case its cold during day)
1 warm woolen jacket (for night)
1 wind shutter (in case it rains, and it does rain often)
2 socks (woolen and full length, do not use cotton ones)
2 underwear
2 handkerchief
Woolen cap (for night)
Cap (while trekking)
Sun goggles (optional)

Medicine for headache and for common stomach issues and First aid items
List as: Paracetamol (For fever)
Ibrufen (Analgesic)
(For diarrhea)
(For altitude sickness)
(vomiting during bus journey)
Pain relief spray
Band aids
Soframycin (for cuts and wounds)
Few cotton buds (to clean wounds)


Personal Items like Camera, Phone, camera and phone chargers, Towel, Identity cards, toiletries, Slippers.

Sun screen lotion with high SPF
Lip care cream (optional)
Soap, shampoo sachets and face wash
Deodorant (optional but preferable as you wont be taking a bath for 4 days
Toilet paper roll (compulsory, water is scarce even at Triund and even if available I am sure it would be too cold)

Trekking poles
One Sleeping bag, carry mat
Camping gear, tents, stove etc (Must be arranged by self or rent it from Dharamshala, McLeodganj).

Return ticket timing is a bit dicey, so have to get it from Macloedgunj only, because we are not sure when we will be able to come back. May be early also possible.
