Amazing! I too have made a biotope recently but it was a nano. I think both of ours are quiet similar. Mine is Rio Paraguay for black neons.

Good work

Excellent setup.
One suggestion though. Remove the round rock. Round rocks are usually observed when there are fast flowing streams (over time fast flowing rivers 'round and polish' the rocks). I think your biotope represents more like a stagnant pool and hence round rocks may not be found there.

Nice setups. Please explain the the size, plant list, animals list, filteration, substrate and other parameters of each of these tanks.

bmukh the thing that You've called a round rock is a coconut half for my Apistogramma female to lay eggs. They're succesfully breeding in there so I don't wanna to take this out. :)

SCORPIO This is the one tank. The pictures show the way from it's start to the present time, and my changes.
So the volume, substrate and water parameters will be quite the same as posted.
First five setups was running on HOB filter only. I added the bucket filter while redoing the setup for the sixth time.
Fishes: the first two setups was 1+2 Apistogramma borelli; Corydoras habrosus 8x; Neon innesa 8x then the Neon innesa go out and 6xNannostomus eques came in.
Plants: the first setup is with Anubias nana, Elodea canadensis and Pistia stratiotes then it was succesfully changed to plants I mentioned in the first post.

Here are some photos of my fishes:

all the stages the tank has seen are attractive, except maybe the bluebackground of the first one. Brown is best. The last one is the best of all, which shows you time spent was well spent :D .... and the video is charming... I love your N eques, they swim like they are sticks being used to prod the substrate and the vegetation.. how infinitely intriguing...

I wonder if they eat dry food at all? The N eques?

For some reason I cannot upvote either your video or Bappada's

They're eating everything that I give them. Dried food as well.

Today I cought them while spawning.

Here is the movie:

The last changes in setup.

Waiting for Apistogramma trifasciata to arrive.

Then this will be the exact biotope of small tributary to Rio Guapore.

Fishes: Nannostomus eques, Corydoras hastatus, Apistogramma trifasciata (when they arrive to me)

Plants: Hydrocotyle leucocephala, Limnobium laevigatum
