Agamyxis pectinifrons- Spotted Raphael Catfish
Hi Guys,
Recently brought this catfish, fell in love with it looks now keeping it in a bare bottom tank with no light.
Just found out that its static when lights are on and some one is near - seen it active in nights beautifully kitty..
Does any one have experience in keeping them? The water parameters I am keeping him is 490tds, ph 6.7. Is there anything else I need to take care.
P.S.- Once he settles down will post his snaps.

A barebottom tank will not do for him buddy. You best do up a tank and give him a place to hide out at during the day.
Just cos it happened to you is no means for you to claim that it will happen to me. Exceptions aren't the rule.

This fish is also known for eating snails. How many have brought those cute fishes? You need atleast 3 fishes. They do best in a group. Also arrange some caves in the aquarium as hiding place for those.

Hi Rajiv Ji,
I have currently added some driftwoods and seen this guy hanging to it, will shift him to the bigger tank and now looking for the stripped raphael catfish, if you guys know from where I can get it, that would be great.
One thing about this kitty is that it comes out when lights are dim and its feeding habit is too good
